Name: Squall
Nickname: For secret missions where only commanders can be deployed, the three of them must have code names for security purposes. Squall's is Crowfeather.
Tribe of Origin: Wind
Race: Elf
Class: Archer
Weapon: His enchanted metal bow and arrows imbued with onyx stones. He is capable of executing wind-type attacks, but not manipulating wind itself.
Physical Characteristics:
Squall has a lithe body that suits his archery skills, long, braided black hair, cold blue eyes, and pale skin. He measures about 5'8" in height.
Occupation: Commander #2 of the Wind Tribe's Battle Unit
Personality:
The roots of his cold demeanor dates back from his childhood days. When he was younger, his mother had been exiled for falling in love with a fairy and eloping with him. Furious, his father did nothing to stop the woman's exile, and they carried on with their lives as if nothing happened. The feeling of being abandoned left a wound in his heart that never healed. The way his older sister treated him only added to the pain, and afterwards he felt the like the loneliest elf of the mountains. As he grew up, he learned that he could only count on himself during the toughest of times. He tried making friends but failed miserably - his sister interfered in everything he did, as if she were making sure he would always have a miserable life. He learned to become stronger, to block out his emotions, and to fight. His personality took a drastic change that often lead to skirmishes with his sister.
The one thing he likes doing most is proving that he's worthy of succeeding his father. He loves to go on shooting practice and hand-to-hand combat practice. Whenever someone challenges him, he's always up for it. Whether he wins or he loses, he never acts bitter towards his comrades. Though he's uncaring and cold on the outside, and appears to be nonchalant most of the time, he has a big heart beneath that sheet of frost. He devotes himself to fighting for his tribe and will do anything to protect the people in it.
Due to the incident in the past with his mother, he has a strong distaste towards exiles and anyone who goes against all tribe norms. He will lead his troops with an iron fist if he has to. One day, if destiny would let him lead his tribe, he would do anything to maintain peace and order - and the ways of the Tribes.

His father had been chief of the battle unit ever since his sister Atalanta was born. When the old man forced him into battle training, Squall became terrified. He never wanted to fight. He wanted to be a messenger and travel from tribe to tribe but his father had been waiting all along for a son to pass on his legacy.
Atalanta thought that he was Dark Moon's favorite, which is why her hatred for him knows no bounds. Dark Moon was cold towards his daughter, seeing her as nothing but an ordinary girl. Many times did Atalanta try to win her father's heart by training hard and becoming an excellent hunter, but it wasn't what he was looking for. He wanted a son who would become the next chief of the battle unit.
Squall used to think that his father only used him for his own desires, that he didn't love him, but one day when he fell off the Thundering Mountains during a mount training session, his father saved him and admitted to being scared of losing him for the first time. Something within Squall sparked, and that was the day he vowed that he would make his father proud of him.
When he and her sister were old enough, they were both admitted into the battle unit. Atalanta was recruited by their father solely because of her skill, while Squall was recruited because of his talent and because Dark Moon wanted to show everyone in the unit how worthy he was of succeeding him. Atalanta's fury reached its peak on the day that her brother was chosen as one of the commanders. She begged her father to promote her, but he simply told her that there was no place in the commanders' quarters for a woman. Blinded by envy and rage, she attempted to kill Squall during a skirmish with a band of exiled elves and harpies lead by their mother, Rubecula.
All this time, Atalanta had been plotting Dark Moon and Squall's demise alongside Rubecula. They exchanged messages via Atalanta's messenger pigeon, and when time came for them to attack, the exiles aimed for Dark Moon first before dealing with Squall.
The fight was lost when Rubecula was killed by Squall himself. Atalanta and the remaining exiles were all banished from the Thundering Mountains forever.
He continues to work as part of the three commanders in training of the Wind Tribe's battle unit. Though the other members already assume that he would become the next chief - because they believed that Dark Moon's recruiting of Squall was actually very biased - he never becomes overconfident. He still does everything he can to prove that he's a worthy chief and not just some choice any father could make.
He's very skilled with a classic bow and arrow, but not as good with a crossbow. His body build allows him to be very flexible, thus allowing easier evasion of attacks and better execution during hand-to-hand combat.
He doesn't know how to handle emotional topics once they are brought up in a discussion as he had long ago blocked away anything sentimental from getting to his heart. He finds it hard to communicate with women, but he admires them for their physical traits from afar. Even in the battle unit, he has difficulties giving orders to his female comrades.

Stat List:
- Endurance -- [8]
- Speed -- [7]
- Agility -- [7]
- Defense -- [3]
Special Moves:
- Eagle's Sonic Boom - Zephyr's signature move starts off with a high-pitched eagle cry as she swoops up as high as she could before blasting herself downwards against her target. The speed of her fall is accelerated by the aerodynamic formation of her wings, and creates a sonic boom that is able to disorient her opponent during one post, giving her an opportunity to attack. The move may fail if the opponent moves too further away from the effect range of the sonic boom, or if the opponent snaps out of unconsciousness before she attacks; cooldown: 6 posts
- Topsy Turvy - She doesn't use this very often as it may lead to dizziness (if 1-7 appear on a number generator, Zephyr will be under 'disabled' status for two posts; if 8-10 appear, she will still be in a normal state), but if it'll help her escape a fight she can't win, she will. Using her fans and the power and speed of wind, she turns and twists around her opponent at an incredible speed that a sphere of wind is created. The move may cause the opponent to be temporarily removed of his/her weapon for one post, along with the 'disabled' status that lasts for one post. Zephyr may decide to attack if she is not disabled; cooldown: 8 posts
Family: Dark Moon (father), Atalanta (sister), Rubecula (mother; deceased)
Mount: A black griffin named Albus.
