Name: Zephyr
Nickname: Windrunner
Tribe of Origin: Wind
Race: Harpy
Class: Breeze Dancer
Weapon: Her enchanted twin fans. They allow her to use wind magic. She is capable of executing small wind-type attacks on enemies without them, but her magical strength is very limited.
Physical Characteristics:
Zephyr has black hair and purple eyes. Like elves and some harpies, she has the iconic pointy ears. Her wings are smaller than the usual size of harpy wings, and she has silver feathers. She also has a slender body structure. Though harpies can choose when to shift back to their 'elf' or flightless forms, she stays in her harpy form most of the time. She wears thin articles of clothing, but whenever she's on messenger duty, she puts on her special armor. In harpy form, her limbs are those of a bird's, with silver feathers and razor sharp claws.
Zephyr's limited wing strength disables her from doing melee combat. They are smaller than most harpy wings, and she cannot depend on them alone to bring her to higher altitudes. She makes use of the wind itself to increase her speed and altitude. The mechanism works a bit like the wind sweeping away a snowflake. Though her physical strength is mediocre, she moves incredibly fast. She uses this to her advantage as she is a Breeze Dancer, a class that uses enchanted fans and specializes in wind magic. With her quick movements and wind magic, she is able to conjure whirlwinds and small tornadoes.

Occupation: Messenger
Personality:
She is always on the lookout for adventure. Her freedom means a lot to her, and she cannot go one day without stretching her wings and flying for a few minutes. She's very fond of her job as messenger since this allows her to travel from place to place and to discover what other tribe territories are like. Adrenaline rush leads her to challenging her peers in a race along the wind barrier around the tribe. She often mocks the loser, but doesn't take well to losing. Zephyr would do anything to feel the wind run along her feathers and hair. Provided this information, she dislikes being trapped in small spaces and narrow pathways.

Background Story:
She was given the name Zephyr because of her small wings. Her parents thought that she wouldn't be able to fly as high as the others or create strong gusts of wind, but she would be able to do things on her own way, nonetheless, like a zephyr - not as strong as a raging typhoon, but still existing and ever so gentle.
Zephyr was the first born of Abigail and Woodwing. They lived in the Thundering Mountains, large mountain-like clumps of the earth that float in mid-air, shielded by a barrier of strong winds and blinding lightning. This was the territory of the elves and harpies of the Wind Tribe. The tower in the heart of Vanford - the territory capital - serves as the Elven Heart's home; the Elven Heart is a magical artifact of protection responsible for the barrier of winds around the Thundering Mountains.
Zephyr's family had a large nest on one of the crags of the tall peaks. Her mother was a harpy like her, and her father an elf. Abigail taught her how to use her small wings as an advantage, and thanks to hours and hours of training, Zephyr showed tremendous skill in flying. She was faster than the wind, seeing as she used this to propel herself faster and without using too much energy. This earned her the alias 'Windrunner', and eventually the title of Tribe messenger.
On an unfortunate turn of events, the Fire Tribe invaded the Thundering Mountains on their dragons and used enormous bursts of fire to cut through the wind barrier. Their goal then was to steal the Elven Heart and harness its power to strengthen their magical abilities. During the attack, many homes were destroyed and lives were taken, including those of Zephyr's parents.
On that very day, Abigail gave birth to another child, a young harpy like Zephyr. Their nest was already burning on the moment of Abigail's labor. Zephyr's parents begged her to escape with the crying bundle and made her promise that no matter what, she would keep her safe. Though it broke her heart to know that her parents were left in the blazing crag, she knew she had fulfilled their dying wish. She then named her sister Gale.
The Fire Tribe retreated after most of their dragons were already taken down. They failed to retrieve the Elven Heart, but killed the Wind Tribe's leader at that time. There was much sorrow afterwards and it took years for the Wind Tribe to rebuild their kingdom.
As of now, Gale is strong enough to hunt on her own. She and Zephyr share a nest on the same crag where their old one used to be. Tension still exists between the Wind and Fire Tribes because of the past invasion.

Stat List:
- Endurance -- [8]
- Speed -- [7]
- Agility -- [7]
- Defense -- [3]
Special Moves:
- Eagle's Sonic Boom - Zephyr's signature move starts off with a high-pitched eagle cry as she swoops up as high as she could before blasting herself downwards against her target. The speed of her fall is accelerated by the aerodynamic formation of her wings, and creates a sonic boom that is able to disorient her opponent during one post, giving her an opportunity to attack. The move may fail if the opponent moves too further away from the effect range of the sonic boom, or if the opponent snaps out of unconsciousness before she attacks; cooldown: 6 posts
- Topsy Turvy - She doesn't use this very often as it may lead to dizziness (if 1-7 appear on a number generator, Zephyr will be under 'disabled' status for two posts; if 8-10 appear, she will still be in a normal state), but if it'll help her escape a fight she can't win, she will. Using her fans and the power and speed of wind, she turns and twists around her opponent at an incredible speed that a sphere of wind is created. The move may cause the opponent to be temporarily removed of his/her weapon for one post, along with the 'disabled' status that lasts for one post. Zephyr may decide to attack if she is not disabled; cooldown: 8 posts
Family: Abigail and Woodwing (deceased biological parents); Gale (younger sister)
Mount: Finch the griffin (she barely goes out with him since she's a harpy. Nevertheless, she still considers him a friend)
